[日本製薬医学会からお知らせ]学会発足
平成21年4月より一般財団法人「日本製薬医学会」が発足しました。新理事長よりご挨拶ならびに年度末の時点の連合会の所属会員の構成(資料PDFにて文末掲載)についてお知らせいたします。

本年４月１日付けで一般財団法人日本製薬医学会が発足し、理事長に就任いたしましたので、この機会に会員の皆様にご挨拶申し上げます。
高橋前会長の年次総会挨拶でご紹介のとおり、JAPｈMed会員数の順調な増加にもかかわらず、活動にアクティブにご参加いただける会員数は限られておりますが、そのなかで連合会時代の課題であった法人化を高橋前会長と幹事会の地道な努力で今般実現できました。
一般財団法人「日本製薬医学会」が取り組むべき課題は山積しておりますが、まずは学会活動の更なる活性化のために活動する会員への支援体制の確立、また機構ならびにアカデミアの先生方との連携で、日本での新薬開発を通してアンメット・メディカル・ニーズに対する新薬を提供し、医薬品の安全性の確立をさらに促進させることを基本に考えております。
この他にも、会員数の拡充、海外の製薬医学関連学会との連携強化、ならびに会員の教育機会を増やすこと、健全な財政基盤の構築などがあります。これらの課題の多くは理事会、総会の審議・承認事項であり、今後とも会員の皆様方のご協力を得て日本製薬医学会をより良い学会にしていきたいと思います。
このうち、まず製薬医学の急速な進歩に追随できるよう海外のオンライン教育プログラムを導入し、認定医試験の受験資格要件とします。また会員数の拡充策としては引き続き、さまざまな提言活動や、製薬医学会としての学会活動を通して認知度を高め、入会会員数の増加を期待します。
会員の所属する団体としてさまざまな研修や人的交流の場を提供できるように最善の努力をすることが会員への最大のサービスの一つであり、結果として会員数の拡充に繋がるものと信じております。今後は医学界の一員として日本の医学の進歩にさらに貢献していきたいと思います。
（財）日本製薬医学会のさらなる発展のために、会員の皆様にはこれまで以上のご支援、ご鞭撻をお願いし、学会発足のご挨拶とさせていただきます。

Dear members,
Dr. Kyoko Imamura
I am very pleased to inform you of the incorporation of the Japanese Association of Pharmaceutical Medicine as a General Incorporated Foundation on April 1. I was inaugurated as the first President of our new organization.
Currently, our organization has many challenges to address. First of all, we need to establish a system which supports our members who are largely contributing to JAPhMed's activities.
Our mission is to promote drug safety more firmly by enhancing collaboration with regulatory agencies and academic organizations and to provide our support for new drug development in Japan which fulfills unmet medical needs.
Furthermore, our organization has much more work to do including increasing membership, strengthening collaboration with foreign pharmaceutical medicine organizations, providing more training opportunities for our members and building a sound financial base. These tasks, recognized by our managing board and our membership at our annual meeting, require support from all JAPhMed members, in order to further improve JAPhMed as an academic society.
We will introduce an online training program used overseas to catch up with the rapid advances in pharmaceutical medicine. This program will become a mandatory requirement for certification in pharmaceutical medicine.
To increase membership, we will continue to show leadership in the field of pharmaceutical medicine by presenting our recommendations and gaining recognition through appealing to medical professional activities.
I believe that our devotion towards providing more opportunities for training and networking for our members is one of the greatest services we can provide. As a result, we hope that more people will join us and that JAPhMed will make a contribution to medical progress in Japan as a member of the community of medical associations.
To further develop our organization, I would like to ask for your continuous support in the years to come.
